Mommy plays while Daddy's away

Playing with Daddy on Father's day

Yeah...she's advanced...what can I say?

Mommy, this smile is hard to hold...take my pic already

Mommy likes this hat but me...not so sure

"You want me to do what?"

I am getting the hang of this standing thing...

...and I have to say...

...I am pretty good...yeah for me!

Who couldn't love this face?

I am so lucky to have my Daddy...I love him SO much

Our little Ms. Sunshine

What are you talking about? That wasn't me...

She gets her good looks from her Daddy

I love to play...can you tell?

I shouldn't have done that

So, Mike has been out of town for a few days and I have been staying busy with Ansley but apparently not busy enough. I decided that I would figure out how many days until my sweet baby turns 1 which turned out to be 14 days exact...yikes! I didn't stop there, however, and decided to figure out how many days until I pop this little guy out. The result is very very scary for me...74 days...74 short days...74 very short days. Why do I feel like I just found out I was pregnant (well...that might be stretching it a little but you know what I mean)? I just can't believe how fast the time is approaching and I just know that I am going to turn around and I will be on my way to the hospital. 74 days is not a lot of time considering that would be the best case scenario. To think that it could be less than 74 days is just something I am not prepared to comprehend right now. I am trying to enjoy my time with Ansley that I have and to spend quality time with her.

Some of my favorite people

Giving Nanny big kisses

I like this doggy but I love my Cortney

I am lovin' this walking thing...

This is me being coy...does it work for me? I think so

I tried to tell Mommy that I wasn't quite ready for a bow...

...but as you can see...she didn't want to listen to that

I can do it...I can do it...let me go

Here is my best shopping buddy...she sure can teach me some things

I love my Aunt Jen...she's the best

I love my visitors...they make my HAPPY

So, we had some visitors in town this past week and Ansley was in heaven. She was SO excited about having her Nanny, Aunt Jen and cousin Cortney in town visiting her. I cannot express to you how much she enjoyed having them in town and how happy she was. She had the best time and it was so nice to spend time with them. Ansley and I went to pick them up and Ansley was so excited that she was talking (or should I say screaming) at the top of her lungs at the airport. For those of you who have been around her know what I mean when I say screaming. For those of you who don't, she will talk but very very very very loudly. She doesn't cry or anything like that but just talks extremely loud. Most people will say, "Oh, she is so talkative" but I know that they really mean that she is so loud. I usually don't mind and figure that it is kind of cute but I have to admit...I was a little embarrassed at the airport because she was LOUD. Anyway, we had a great time visiting with the family and I know that Ansley was so happy to have them here. We wish that they could have stayed longer but hopefully we will see them soon when baby brother gets here.

In just 3 short, short weeks...

...my sweet little baby is going to be 1!!! I can hardly believe it. There are no words to describe how crazy that is to me and how quickly time has just flown by. I honestly feel like it was just yesterday that she came into our lives and now she is almost one. What is even crazier is that just 2 months after Ansley's birthday...I will be giving birth to another baby. I have not hit panic mode just yet but I am sure that time will come soon. I have quite a few pictures to post of Ansley which I will do next time. She is getting to be such a big girl. She is starting to pull up by herself (without using any objects) and trying so hard to walk. She has taken a few steps but still isn't quite there. I have no clue how much she weighs but I feel like she hasn't grown very much since her last visit but we will see. She is saying "Mama" all of the time which brings a smile to my face. She is trying to climb up on everything including her "Mama" and loves to give both Daddy and me kisses. I will be sure to put up some recent pics of Ansley soon!

Bad bad Mommy

Sorry this post is a little overdue. I should have put this up a few weeks ago but I did not post anything while I was in Huntsville. Anyway, while Ansley and I were visiting my parents in Huntsville (right after we moved from Orlando)...we had a little accident. Oh...a little side note before I continue...Ansley was just barely crawling when we left Orlando and had really started to get the hang of it when we were at my parent's house. The 2nd night we were in Huntsville she woke up really early in the morning. I decided to put her in bed with me for just a bit because it was just too early to get up. My plan was to try and get her to fall back asleep for while but instead I accidentally took a snooze. I know that I could not have been out for more than a few minutes...but it was long enough. Ansley had crawled off the side of the bed and I woke up to her screaming crying. I ran over to the side of the bed and she was laying on the ground. I picked her up and she stopped crying after a few minutes. I could not believe that I had allowed myself to fall asleep and I felt terrible. I was in tears after looking at her face and I felt like the worse Mommy ever. Ansley was very easy on me though because she forgave me very quickly. I took a few pictures of her to try and show you her boo boo but I have to tell you...the picture doesn't look near as bad as it did in person. One side of her face was swollen and turned a little black and blue. It is all better now and I defintely will never let her on the bed without good supervision. She is well past the point of just laying or sitting in one place which I am still trying to decide if that is a good thing or a bad thing :)

Part 2 as promised

Sorry this has taken so long...I know this is long overdue. We have been visiting my brother, sister and niece this past week and I haven't had the chance to post anything. They just came in from Hawaii and are on their way to their new home in North Carolina. Kayla is 2 and is SO amazing. I can have a normal conversation with her and I can't believe it. She is so smart and I just hope that I can do with Ansley what they have done with Kayla. She sings her ABC's, can count to 20...it's just crazy. She is the cutest thing and has little Shirley Temple curls. I didn't take a ton of pictures but I will try and put a few up that my mom took. I can't believe that I did not take more pictures. Anyway, here is the video of Ansley crawling about 3 or 4 days after the first video. I just wanted to show everyone the improvement she made in such a short time. She is crawling so much better now, of course, but I haven't take any recent video. She is so close to walking but isn't quite there yet. She is trying to stand up on her own right now but can pull up on almost everything. I will put some good pics here shortly but until then...enjoy!
