Daddy...will you be my Valentine?

I know this post is a little late but I had to put this on the blog. Ansley asked her Daddy to be her Valentine. She had a little present for him that she made completely for him and out of love. I took her to a pottery place and we painted it and she sealed it with love with her tiny feet. We also went and got our pictures made that turned out really cute that we gave to him. He loved them and I will be mailing pics out to our loved ones very soon. Happy belated Valentine's Day!

Mommy...I have friends!

We had a little play date with some of the girls from our gymboree class and it was fun. Ansley seemed to really enjoy being around the other babies. They played for a little on the ground with TONS of toys and then we decided to sit all of them up on the couch and take some pics...but it didn't go exactly as planned.

Here are our new friends: Skylar, Ansley, Hayden, Franklin & Noah

It's not easy getting the babies to all look at the same time...

...but at least we tried

Say cheese please

She continues to amaze me...

Well, the other day...we got out one of Ansley's Christmas presents (yes, a little late...aren't we terrible?) and she was having so much fun playing with it. I had her sitting on my lap and she just stood up on her own! We couldn't believe it. We decided to record it and she did it a few more times. We also tried to sit her on the boppy and she stood up on that as well.

7 months...I repeat...7 months!

Yes...Ansley is 7 months old. I cannot believe it. She is getting to be such a big girl and it makes me sad...happy but sad. I am so happy that she is thriving and learning something everyday but it makes me a little sad because she isn't that 5 pound baby anymore. She is sitting up so good now and is really starting to do some amazing things. She is starting to do the beginning stages of crawling. It is neat to watch her because we can see that she is really starting to catch on to things. Anyway, I took a little video and some pics of her sitting up so enjoy!

Next stop...Orlando International Airport

So we got a phone call from our friends in Ohio saying that they were coming to Florida for a beach trip and they would be stopping in Orlando. It was going to be a good little layover so we would have some time to visit. That morning I loaded Ansley in the car and we headed to the airport. Here are some pics from our visit but please note that we didn't really think to take any pictures until the end of our visit and it was a little rushed.

Giddy up!

Santa brought Ansley this rocking horse (I guess it is really a dinosaur) and daddy loves to help her ride on it. I have been meaning to put these pictures up since after Christmas and just haven't...so I am sorry about that. Giddy up Ansley!

*don't forget to mute the music*

She's a keeper

Nanny gave Ansley a baby doll for Christmas and I have to say...she's a keeper because Ansley just loves her. She is always picking her up and giving her big hugs and wet kisses. We took the opportunity to take a few photos to show Nanny just how much she loves her baby.

*Please excuse the mess on her face...she had scratched herself pretty good and had just eaten and I didn't get all of the carrots off of her face...sorry*

I also put up a few other pictures. While we were shopping one day...Ansley found this elephant that she just loved. I let her hold it while we were looking around and she just did not want to give it back...so I had to get it for her. She gets so excited whenever she sees it and really loves her.

Watch out...Daddy's camera happy again

Daddy took a few pictures while Ansley was in action...

One sip at a time

So at her 6 month appointment...our doctor told us to give Ansley a sippy cup. We thought it was a little early but she IS the doctor. We didn't do it at 6 months but we did start it a week ago. I really didn't think it would go well and was expecting her to not be able to really drink from it but as always she surprised me. Ansley picked it up and drank right from it.
