Seat's taken

You know that early scene from Forrest Gump when he is getting on the school bus for the first time right before he meets Jenae (that is the southern way to say Jenny)? He is walking down the isle of the bus and every seat he goes to sit in...the kid tells him that the "seat's taken"? Well, that is how I felt when I walked onto the airplane with Ansley. I could tell on the faces of every person I passed that they wanted to tell me that the seat was taken. They were all thinking..."please don't sit here...please don't sit here..." because I had a baby and they didn't want to sit next to a whiny baby. This was not the case though. Ansley was perfect...and that is not an understatement. She didn't make a peep the entire time. She was quiet at the gate while we were waiting to board and quiet on the airplane. I thought that she might make a few noises just from being on something so unfamiliar and noisy but she did great. I was a proud mama. Everyone around me made comments about how good she was...and I have to say...it felt great. Anyway...just thought I would share.
